1.77m watch Maroons win State of Origin I

2022 State of origin the series got off to a great start last night with Origin I attracting 1.77 million Tube viewers – the survey’s biggest audience so far this year.

This saw Nine go home with a whopping 47.6% share, more than double the competition.

Previous origin iwere: 2021 was 1.91m with 2020 1.61m and 2019 2.19m.

Meanwhile Grun comes back with 491,000 then 7:30 a.m. (489,000), MasterChef Australia (437,000) and Big brother (255,000).

Later The Weekly with Charlie Pickering attracted 451,000 then You can’t ask that (253,000), The front bar (229,000) and Five bedrooms (219,000).

The Nine network won on Wednesday with 47.6% then Seven 18.8%, 10 and ABC 13.9% each and SBS 5.8%.

Nine News was 864,000 / 843,000 for Nine with harness out of 471,000 / 302,000.

Seven news won on 968,000 / 927,000. The hunt entertainment directed at 561,000 / 340,000 with Far from home to 440,000 and England has an incredible talent out of 127,000.

The project drawn 404,000 / 257,000 for 10. 10 news first was 295,000 / 218,000 while Bull managed 118,000.

ABC News was 599,000 for ABC. Battery (190,000) and Would I lie to you? (162,000) followed

On SBS it was SBS World News (157,000 / 151,000), Tony Robinson: World War II by drone (128,000), Thatcher and Reagan (84,000), Brain (81,000) and Cobra (37,000).

Bluey multi-channel leads to 145,000.
