Academy Origin returned to its three-game format this year after the entire 2020 schedule was forced to be canceled and a Covid-shortened 2021. Lancashire won the first match 56-34 at Widnes and the second at Salford 38-20.

Academy Origin III follows Wakefield Trinity’s home game against St Helens, which kicks off at 3pm on Sunday July 24.
