Spot animals while searching for Easter eggs this weekend at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.

On Saturday, April 16 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., the zoo hosts its annual Easter celebration with a day full of fun for children and animals.

“Children can meet the Easter Bunny and collect treats from treat stations throughout the zoo,” zoo special events manager Kim Denzler said in a press release. “They will also enjoy watching gorillas, cougars, birds and other animals hunt for eggs.”

There are plenty of activities to experience, from hunting Komodo dragon eggs to crushing elephant eggs. Check out the Zoo’s full list of Easter activities here.

The event is free with admission. The zoo opens at 10 a.m. and the event starts at noon and lasts until closing at 5 p.m.

The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is located at 3400 Vine St., Avondale. Tickets and more information:
