Lost Ark Necromancer’s Origin Abyss Dungeon Guide

Once players have started their Level 1 progression in Lost Ark, they will need to accept the very difficult Abyssal Dungeons which require an item level of at least 340. Prepare a party of four, then read the following guide to complete the Abyssal Dungeon of the Lost Ark Necromancer’s Origin.

Abyssal Dungeon of Lost Ark Necromancer Origin

Before you face one of the necromancer’s creations, there are some tactics and tricks you need to know. There are two bosses you will encounter in Necromancer’s Origin’s Abyssal Dungeon; we will discuss their two mechanisms below.

Origin of the Necromancer – Reanimated Garum Boss

This is the first boss you will encounter in Necromancer’s Origin Abyss dungeon in Lost Ark. You’ve encountered this boss before in Vern’s storyline.

Unlike the first dungeon, if you mishandle this boss, you could wipe out the whole party.

Each time the boss roars, each player on your team will receive a stack of red orbs above their name. If this number of stacks of orbs reaches 5, you will eventually die. A yellow orb appears on the minimap to counter stacks; this removes all of that player’s stacks.

Additionally, you need to rotate the yellow orb surrounding your party as soon as possible. If the group you are in is a matchmaking PUG group, it would be best if you set up a pickup order or have players pick up an orb as soon as possible.

Here’s a list of mechanics that are special for Reanimated Garum in Necromancer’s Origin’s Abyssal Dungeon and how you can approach them.

Cone cycle: This boss uses cone-based skills to move forward, backward, and sideways. In order to avoid this, you must cycle in each of these positions.

tail whip: Once this dragon does a tail whip, it sends a cone of foul magic behind this boss. Rolling back will help you get out of this boss’s reach and into his side.

Scans: This boss slides with each of its front claws after a certain delay. The player with the boss’s attention on them must be within range of this move.

side cones: The boss performs a conical attack that emits foul magic from its left and right sides. It deals damage over three ticks.

Hyphen: Garum lunges forward shortly after a large frontal blow with his claw. Dash is hard to dodge, but wipe can be avoided using spacebar and movement skills.

double donut: There are two distinct AOE effects when it comes to this boss. One is under this boss and the other is a larger ring at the edge of its reach. Stand between these areas to avoid being hit.

Origin of the Necormancer – Sigmund the Immortal Boss

Sigmund has a big party cleanup check that players should be aware of. The boss will crouch in a position and his demon eye will be present in the sky. This eye shows an AOE indicator that impacts the entire boss room.

You’ll need to beat the yellow bar under this boss’ name causing a lot of damage to it, otherwise you and your party could die.

We recommend that your party rotate their Awakening skills during this phase to ensure the DPS test is satisfied. It would be best if you stock up on Chaos Shards before entering.

Another basic mechanic happens when the boss’s health drops to 1. Once it gets to that point, it will then do a big AOE and become invincible.

Players will have to split in different directions, namely north, east, south, and west. Each of these directions has a red or black orb. You need to click on the orb depending on the color of the AOE. If you get it wrong, the AOE explodes.

This happens twice in the fight, if you manage to take it down the first time the boss reactivates with another ten HP bars. Run through those health bars and perform the same mechanic again to kill the boss.

Here’s a list of mechanics that are special to Sigmund the Immortal in Necromancer’s Origin’s Abyssal Dungeon and how you can approach them.

AE: This boss does a large AOE that will fill the entire area except for a small section below the boss. Stand under this boss until the AOE explodes.

360° melee attack: Boss eye spins and damages everyone within 360 melee radius around it.

blood rain: It will drop pools of blood around the room which will persist for a short time.

More Orbs: This boss releases four orbs that split in different directions and rotate 30 degrees and fire again. Analyze where the first orbs fire, then get into a position based on that to avoid getting hit. The boss can then fire even more orbs later in the fight.

Avoid the fire: The boss will select a player who spawns a pool of foul magic under the target. This happens several times during the fight and you have to watch out for it.

Front cone: There will be foul magic attacks on players caught in the frontal cone.

Falling debris: The falling debris mechanic drops red eyes from the sky in random locations. Once they land, they fire eight missiles in a 360 cone around impact.

Double Demon Eye AOE: The boss uses his eye to do a bigger AOE around him. He then uses the Demon’s Eye to use a powerful and long cone.
