Meet Amrapali Gan, Indian-born CEO of adult website OnlyFans

Subscription video-sharing website OnlyFans, known for hosting adult content, has named Amrapali ‘Ami’ Gan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after its founder Tim Stokley resigned. She has worked closely with Stokley and is heavily involved in the growth of OnlyFans.

Gan will be in charge of the company’s affairs, allowing Tim Stokley to pursue other projects. Stokley will, however, continue with OnlyFans as an advisor. But what makes Ami Gan so special? She is another Indian CEO leading a major global company.

With his new role at OnlyFans, Ami Gan will join Arvind Krishna, Shantanu Narayen, Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai, Indra Nooyi and Parag Agarwal who have risen to the top of their company leadership.


Amrapali Gan is a Mumbai born marketing professional. The 36-year-old has served the company as director of marketing and communications since September 2020, according to her LinkedIn profile. Gan also continues to consult with Arcade Agency for three years since 2018.

His previous roles include Vice President of Marketing and Advertising at Cannabis Café (from 2019 to 2020); director of communications at Lowell Herb Co. (2019); Brand Activation and Communications Manager at Red Bull Media House (since 2017-2018); head of brand communication at Quest Nutrition (2014-2016); Marketing Director, Quest Apparel (2013-2014); Marketing Manager at StyleSaint (2012-2013); Editorial and digital marketing manager at My Fashion Database Inc (2010-2012); Account Manager at Phyllis Klein and Associates (2008-2010). She was also part of PepsiCo’s Marketing Leadership Program in 2007.

Ami Gan completed his training at FIDM (Merchandise Marketing); California State University at Los Angeles (BA in Public Relations and Organizational Communications); and Harvard Business School (Certificate Course in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies).

Ami Gan didn’t have much of a public presence prior to her recent appointment as CEO of OnlyFans.
