Dancers and spectators from Bloemfontein came out in droves to Hoffman Square, where the 29-year-old from Phahameng claimed victory. Hosted by Elly The Entertainer, the qualifying tour kicked off with workshops that showcase the different dance styles of TikTok sensation 250 Machine, Gqeberha’s top dancer Junior King, and Red Bull Dance Your Style Johannesburg 2021 Qualifier winner Adonis Huntingley.

This was followed by the one-on-one qualifying rounds which showcased various styles of movement as the dancers competed for an unpredictable musical selection curated by 2019 Red Bull BC One South Africa champion, DJ and musician Courtnaé Paul.

It was a tough day for me, but I gave it my all in every run. I’m so glad I took a chance on signing up for Red Bull Dance Your Style online and coming to the event. I learned from everyone and I respect everyone who participated

Kop Teny will join Johannesburg qualifier winner Sne and Diddy Mayanda from Durban, as well as four other regional tour winners from Polokwane, Gqeberha, Cape Town and Pretoria, where the best street dancers will compete for the title National Red Bull Dance Your Style.
