Red Bull dance your style

Back for its second triumphant year, world street dance competition Red Bull dance your style returns to Atlanta on Friday May 13, to The Masquerade – The Sky. Bringing together the best of hip-hop, house, waacking, popping, krumping, locking down and more, Red Bull Dance Your Style will celebrate the local dance scene and the artists, movers and creators who shape the legacy from Atlanta in street dancing.

The best street dancers in the region will compete, via a bracket-style tournament, to a spontaneous soundtrack. An audience of dance enthusiasts will act as judges, ultimately deciding which dancer will advance from each qualifier to the Red Bull Dance Your Style USA National Finals in New Orleans, spanning a full weekend of Saturday, May 21. to Sunday May 22. With no panel of judges, no planned choreography, and no pre-chosen music, it’s all about seizing the moment, impressing the crowd, and moving to the beat.

A major cultural center, Atlanta has made major contributions to pop culture as we know it today through the artists, musicians, historical figures, athletes, personalities and others coming to the city. Red Bull Dance Your Style aims to bring the city together to shine a light on Atlanta’s unmistakable energy and honor the local dance community. See it firsthand as the region’s top dancers battle for a shot at the Red Bull Dance Your Style Atlanta Championship title.

The evening will be hosted by local legends paige shari & Attraction. DJ Jash Jay will provide a spontaneous soundtrack of mainstream hits to timeless classics for the night, and audiences will enjoy special showcase performances by Bad Boy Skate Crew and trend dance leaders, Tropy, mainmast, Rugrxt Reese.
