Treat Hours, Halloween Activities in Kane County Communities – Shaw Local

Halloween is Monday, October 31, and little (and sometimes not-so-little) witches, fairies, and superheroes will be canvassing local communities for candy and other treats.

Each municipality sets its own treat times.

Other Local Halloween Events

BatFest – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29 at the Peg Bond Center in downtown Batavia. BatFest is a family-friendly event featuring downtown trick-or-treating, a pumpkin bowl, parade and more. Batavia United Way will host the ninth annual BatFest 5K/10K Bat Race on October 29. The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will begin and end at River and State streets in downtown Batavia.

Trick-or-treating in downtown Geneva – 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, in downtown Geneva. Children are invited to put on their Halloween costumes to go to Geneva shops to score some candies. Participating businesses will display a sign.

Chicago Premium Outlets Trick-or-Treating – 4-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 at the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora. Participating stores will distribute candies and other treats to children.
